ABSTRACT:
Homo Metrumhttp: The basic principles of the psychodramatic approach to constellation work.

The work in hand presents an assessment of the psychodramatic approach to constellation work. In the first chapter we outline the main features of the various current approaches to constellation work as well as constellation work according to Hellinger and
Sparrer/Kibéd.
Futher, we examine the basic principles of psychodrama as a model for constellation work.
As a result, factors which are of psychodramatic and sociometric importance are presented in detail. A case study and an operating model are used to outline the aforementioned basic principles. Finally, we examine the psychodramatic approach to constellation work in contrast to Hellinger´s and Sparrer/ Kibéd´s approach, pointing out the various differences. This comparison of the various different approaches leads us to the ultimate conclusion that it is solely the psychodramatic approach to constellation work which enables the clients to take an active part in the work throughout the process, thus including the entire group conceptually into the process work and work of integration. As another specific characteristic, we should like to point out that the psychodramatic approach is soundly
based on scientifically substantiated proceedings.
